We are just about two weeks out from the first PAWS festival, and it's a good time to highlight one of the events that will be occurring. There will be A LOT going on for the festival -- the Winston Pet Hotel is clipping nails, Drone Pet Recovery will be showing us how they help find lost pets, Sit Means Sit will be bringing their dog demonstrators, and -- for everyone who wants to get a chance to stroll around the campus -- we will be offering a one mile fun run/walk with your doggos! (Bear in mind, you do not need to have a dog to participate, but if you and your pup want to tackle this together, that's fine, too!)
This is an untimed, fun event, but there are prizes for the first several finishers. Feel free to wear something special -- we'd love to see costumes and 'best dressed' pups. Doggie strollers are welcome! (Not every pup wants to walk a mile, after all). There will be snacks and dog treats at the finish line to reward everyone's efforts!
We are working with Muskingum Multisports who are handling the details for this event. Early registration information can be accessed through the link below. Early registration is $20.00. Same day registration opens at 8:30 am at the festival, and on that day registration is $25.00. The race starts at 10:00 am.
